İskenderun 2 x 600 MW Thermal Power Plant Water Intake and Discharge Structure

- The cooling water system required for the operation of the Atlas Enerji facility was completed in three phases:

- 1- Reinforced Concrete Works:
- Construction of the water intake channel,
- Construction of the pump building,
- Construction of the electrical chlorination building,
- Construction of retaining walls,
- Construction of the technical gallery.
- The total scope of these works included:
- 12,880.83 m² of formwork,
- 15,687.38 m³ of concrete,
- 1,644.72 tons of reinforcement steel,
- 22,237.54 m³ of excavation,
- 2,410.39 m³ of backfilling

- 2- Infrastructure Works:
- Installation of 44,886.85 meters of Ø80-100-120 diameter bored piles,
- Installation of 30,250.53 m² of sheet piling for the support system,
- Laying of 2,059.62 meters of Ø3200 mm CTP pipe,
- Laying of 1,869.46 meters of Ø3400 mm CTP pipe,
- The total scope of these works included:
- 148,701.96 m³ of excavation,
- 87,252.18 m³ of backfilling

- 3- Marine Discharge Works:
- Construction of a deep-sea discharge basin,
- Installation of 763.05 meters of Ø4000 mm CTP pipe,
- Installation of 156.84 meters of Ø2200 mm CTP pipe,
- Installation of 271.14 meters of Ø800 mm CTP pipe.
- The total scope of these works included:
- 143,923.37 m³ of dredging,
- 63,345.98 m³ of marine filling,
- 44,408.85 m³ of crushed stone spreading,
- 8,646.77 m² of geotextile fabric placement,
- 28,957.84 m³ of rock and fine rock filling,
- Installation of 1,251 dry concrete bags.
